  • How to use the new messaging system

The new messaging feature not only allows you to communicate with a recipient but it can also be used to communicate internally.

With this feature you can send external messages, internal messages or mention team members in any messages (whether external or internal) if you need.

+List in the first field all viewers of your messages. By default your recipient's name will be added in blue so you can easily send external messages.

+ Type in in the first field 'Team' to send internal messages visible to all your colleagues (based on their permissions rights)

+Use the @mention in your text to ping specifically one of your team members and allow them to take action.

  • What is the list of viewers

The list of viewers are listed in the first fields. They will receive a notification with the message:
-The recipient will be able to reply to you from their secure interface
-The team members (based on their permissions) will be able to access the application and read the message and/or reply

  • What is the @mention ( at mention) feature

If you want someone from your team to take action, do not hesitate to mention them specifically in a message. When they read the message, they will then see that they are mentioned in a message and will be able to reply accordingly.

  • Examples of messages sent

Scenario #1
In the following scenario, the message sent is external. The recipient will receive a notification as well as the teammate tagged in the message. If the teammate has the right to access this application they'll be able to take action and/or reply.

Scenario #2
In this situation, the message is internal. The teammates added to the list will all receive a notification. However as none of them was specifically mentioned in the text, the message will be applicable to both. If the teammates have the right to access this application they'll be able to take action and/or reply.

Scenario #3
In this scenario, the message is internal. By typing in 'Team' the entire team will be notified about this message. The teammates who have the right to access this application will be able to take action and/or reply.
